Cruise down to Cornwall for a wondrous winter break!

A view of the beach around Towan Valley Holiday park

Enjoying a winter break is an activity many of us partake in. Some take to warmer climes while others take an adventurous stance but what everyone must consider is … ‘What can Cornwall offer me?’

So, what can Cornwall offer? Let’s take a look…

Eden Project

The Eden Project does much more than offer a memorable day out in Cornwall. Eden is also a charity and social enterprise.

As well as creating stunning gardens and laying on fantastic arts and music events, much of our energy goes into:

  • running transformational social and environmental projects on our doorstep and around the world
  • creating unforgettable learning experiences for students
  • doing valuable research into plants and conservation
  • making sure we run our operations in the greenest possible way.

Newquay Zoo

Great fun for adults and children. This north coast Zoo has a wide variety of activities, including:

  •  a conservation and research zone
  • learning zone
  • kids’ zone

Heartlands

A heritage site at the heart of Cornwall in Pool, Redruth. Heartlands celebrates everything that once made Cornwall great and what will make us great again. With 19 acres of eclectic fun to explore, you can:

  • observe state of the art exhibitions
  • climb on the sculptures
  • explore the giant adventure playscape for kids
  • meander through the art and craft studios
  • enjoy organic lunch at the Red River Cafe.

These are just three examples of the attractions in Cornwall. For more on the area around Towan Valley, click here.
