Christmas is creeping up on us and the county is packed with Cornish Christmas cheer!

Christmas time in Cornwall

The nights are drawing in, Jack Frost is starting to nip at our noses and the festive season is getting under way.

Across the county Cornish residents are firmly in the festive spirit, none more so than the residents of Truro, with their ‘Fesitval of Lights’. An annual favourite for many across the county, this parade signals the start of yuletide glee.

This parade is not the only event of the season with the Eden Project’s ice-skating going on from October to March. Many of Cornwall’s districts celebrate the season with markets, fairs and other family friendly events but the most exciting are the ‘Santa fun runs’. These events take place from 26th November to 21st December and are held from Bodmin to Marazion.

Keep an eye on our weekly blogs as we will be picking out a festive Cornish event each week until Christmas.
