5 Things for Couples to do in Cornwall

Are you planning a romantic break in Cornwall this year?

There are so many amazing experiences for couples to try in Cornwall; here are a selection of our favourites…

Scarlet Hotel, Scarlet Spa, things to do in Cornwall

Couples Spa Day

The Scarlet Spa is the perfect place to spend the day unwinding with your other half.  The spa has plenty of amazing treatments and different areas to relax in, but our favourite spot is the outdoor log-fired hot tub, great for star gazing and storm watching.

Camel Valley, Vinyard, things to do in Cornwall

Wine tasting in the Camel Valley

A guided tour at the Camel Valley Vineyards is a must for all couples visiting Cornwall.  Imagine spending a warm afternoon in the Camel Valley, tasting red, white and sparkling wines by the bottle or the glass.  This Easter the Camel Valley Vineyards will be reopening their doors for wine tasting and guided tours of their award-winning winery.

Horse Riding, Liskeard, Lower Tokenbury, things to do in Cornwall

Horse Riding across the Moors

Whether you’re an experienced rider or just a beginner, you are guaranteed to enjoy a moorland ride with your partner at the Lower Tokenbury Equestrian Centre.  Run by an ex-international event rider you can choose whether you want a quiet hack or fast gallop on the moor.

Tintagel, King Arthur, Things to do in Cornwall

Visit the Birthplace of King Arthur

Steeped in legend and mystery, Tintagel Castle is a truly romantic place to visit as a couple.  We recommend walking the ‘King Arthur and the Slate Coast’ route, a five mile circular walk that starts at Tintagel Church and descends to the cove of Trebarwith Strand.  It’s also worth paying a little extra to explore the castle ruins and take in the breathtaking scenery.

Minack theare, porthcurno, things to do in Cornwall

Experience Open Air Theatre like never before

A visit to Cornwall wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the Minack Theatre in Porthcurno. The theatre itself is carved into the granite cliff, and is surrounded by glorious gardens that overlooking the stunning Porthcurno Bay. The theatre is open from the start of April to the end of September.
