Dog Friendly Cottages

With vast sandy beaches, secluded wooded areas and miles of coastal paths, Cornwall is the perfect destination for dog owners. Our dog friendly beaches provide plenty of opportunity to splash in the waves, fetch sticks washed in by the sea, and explore caves with lots of interesting smells and sights. It’s a doggy heaven!

We love having well-behaved dogs to stay at Towan Valley, and we have five cottages available for dog friendly holidays in Cornwall.  Each cottage is equipped with a plush dog bed and has easy access to the dog friendly beaches at Porthtowan and Chapel Porth.  Year-round dog friendly beaches can also be found locally at St Agnes and Portreath.

Bringing your dog on holiday with you is a more enjoyable and cheaper option than putting them in kennels. There is a small charge of £25 which helps us to keep our cottages clean for the additional wear and tear a dog can create.

You will need to bring with you the essentials for your stay. Don’t forget dog leads, toys, bowls and something to clean up after your dog with. When exploring Cornwall make sure you look out for strong ocean currents and beaware of steep cliffs and mine shafts.  We also ask that you do not leave your dog unattended in a vehicle while visiting attractions that do not accept dogs.

There are more dog friendly attractions, beaches and pubs in Cornwall than you might think. Click here to explore our favourite dog friendly places:
