Cornwall is the ultimate destination for food lovers all across the UK
With celebrity chefs like Rick Stein, Jamie Oliver, Nathan Outlaw and Paul Ainsworth residing on the North Coast, we couldn’t be in a better spot to taste the county’s culinary delights!
Here are our favourite places for…
No food lover can resist Rick Stein’s fish & chips in Padstow. And if the idea of choosing your own fish and waiting while it cooks appeals to you, then you’ve come to the right place.
The Blue Bar in Porthtowan has an excellent menu to suit the whole family’s tastes. The cafe has brilliant views across the beach and a fantastic lively atmosphere.
What could be better than a Cornish cream tea and a day trip to St Ives? The Tea Room St Ives specialises in cream teas, serving an unbeatable combination of two warms scones, the best clotted cream from Roddas, Boddington’s Cornish conserve and Tregothnan Estate Cornish tea.
Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant is the obvious go-to in Cornwall, but once you’ve given it a try why not venture across the camel estuary to Rock? Home to Nathan Outlaw’s two restaurants at the St Enodoc Hotel, this is the perfect spot for sublime seafood.
